There are quite a few factors that are going to affect the ultimate cost of your web site. You will also need web hosting and domain name registration. We've created solutions and packages to keep the costs down. What if I want a custom site that doesn't fall into one of the package deals?

Our packages can fit almost any business, however if you require something more, we off custom website development.

Why do you ask for 50% up front?

Our designers and web developers work hard to ensure a quality site. We've found that without a deposit, people don't take their site seriously and drag the process out. As much as we're here to help your business we cannot supply services for free.

How many design propositions do you supply?

From the information you supply us we turn around two design propositions for you to consider. From our experience we've seen that this is largely sufficient.

After looking at a proposition I've decided to add or edit some graphics can I do this?

Yes, once you've chosen your layout if you would like changes we give you an opportunity to do this. We'll send back the changed format for approval, before implementing your site. This procedure is available for a two turn around only. Again this has proven largely sufficient.

How long does it take to have a web site designed?

The time frame is determined by the size of your web site*, the complexity of your site design, the time you take to supply the content and our current client design schedule. (*for e-commerce sites and custom sites)

What is a URL?

It stands for "universal resource locator". This is the address typed in to view your web page on the Internet.

What is a domain name?

A domain name is a specific web site address that you choose and register.

What is web hosting?

Web hosting is a yearly fee that you pay to have your site accessible on the Internet. Your site is stored and accesed on an external server. We have partnered with a web hosting company because of their excellent service and support.

What is site maintenance?

Site maintenance is a fee paid monthly to keep your site updated with new content that you provide. Most good web sites have new content updated regularly. Fresh content is what will keep your visitors coming back. We have chosen to use a content mangement system, Joomla for our websites that enables you to update your site easily for free. However, if you really don't want to do this yourself, we can offer a maintenance as an optional service.

Why can't I find my web site in the search engines?

Once your site has been submitted to the top search engines they may require several weeks, or even months to actually spider and list your web site in their directory. How fast your site is listed depends on each individual search engines database update schedule. We put in place search engine optimisation techniques to help get your site listed as quickly as possible.

Joomla has an intuitive management system making it very easy to manage your website. Your site's content is easily updated and or managed from your browser with a login and password. You can manage content and images in real time.

We give you access to full documentation and an initial Half hour online training session. If you have further questions or just need a little help, send us an email and we'll help you out.

When do I pay the remaining 50% for my site?

We ask for final payment upon delivery of your site. We cater mainly to small to medium size businesses, because we understand the need for professional support by people who take an interest in your business. We are not a large corporataion and rely on payment for services rendered.
